    1. yep i was about 10/11 when this song came out and remember it came out around spring/summer as me and my friends would listen to it as we jumped on our big trampoline, young and carefree. To this day this song still smells,sounds and feels like summer to me lol. Definitely my forever summer anthem along with Bryan Adams summer of 69 and boys of summer.

  15. I would turn on MTV first thing in the morning, my sister and I would put a VHS in and we’d tape every single song that was on. TLC, Michael Jackson, Mariah, REM, Simply Red, Whitney Houston, Alanis Morissette, MTV’s week in rock, etc. We would have friends and cousins over and we would dance and sing for hours. Scatman was a favorite. We would copy Michael’s moves when Black or White was on. Then we would watch Cartoon Network. In the afternoon on weekends we’d go to birthday parties with our shoes that lit up and mom’s brown lipstick that we shouldn’t have been wearing. Rocking jeans dungarees and ponytails with two strands of hair in the front. Jelly shoes. Dancing, laughing, happiness. I would give anything to go back and feel the pure joy of the 90s if only for a day.

My mom told me this song was the song of the 90s decade it use to play in all the stores and bus and cars ??❤?I wish if i could have seen Mariah at her peek ?when everybody use to acknowledge her about her voice ?now these kids treat her like trash ???we the 2000s kids do not deserve this legend because u guys are highly disrespectful ?we all have our own fav singers but to say Mariah is not a legend and hate on her everyday is just disgraceful and I’m done with these kids from now ??have less to say to me cause we all need to appreciate this legend while she last ??she wouldn’t be here forever unfortunately ??so let’s acknowledge her and all the legends left in 2018 ?please guys let’s live as one and appreciate our legends ??❤

    2. +Agent agreed i personally don’t know who among the vocal trinity is my fav vocals wise celine, mariah or whitiney but its obivous as an overall artist mariah is definitely the best

    3. aldcstars In terms of songwriting, Mariah definitely has the best lyrics & her choice of words are actually poetic especially in the Butterfly album.
      But what I love about this song is the bittersweet message of it. It shows how much she loves this person to the point that she is willing to let go of him. But in her heart she hopes that he will return and they will eventually get back together. She knows someday this love of her life will realize in time that he loves her the same as well.
      But I liked the way she did this song because it’s not an overly dramatic arrangement. And the tune is very catchy & pleasing to the ears! ?

    4. +Agent I personally prefer hero , through the rain,one sweet day ,butterfly, my all and many more a lot no but this was abosoulty amazing my fav song writing and maybe overall is definitely my all but I love this too
