  14. I have no idea how to speak Arabic. I’m Persian but I’m taking some Arabic classes and this is what my professor is teaching us. Ukhti (اختى) is “my sister.” Akhi (اخى) is “my brother.” Abu and Ummi is what little kids call their parents. My professor said he’s teach us standard formal Arabic. My Arab friends said these words are correct also. But I’m not a native speaker lol
