The ants go marching one by one song

Ants go marching is a popular song loved by all kids. Here are the lyrics :

The ants go marching One by one
Hurrah.. hurrah..

the ants go marching one by one
the little one stops to suck his thumb

and they all go marching down to the ground
to get out of the rain

boom.. boom.. boom.. boom..

the ants go marching two by two
hurrah.. hurrah..

the ants go marching two by two
the little one stops to tie his shoes

and they all go marching down to the ground
to get out of the rain

boom.. boom.. boom.. boom..

the ants go marching three by three
hurrah.. hurrah..

the ants go marching three by three
the little one stops to climb a tree

and they all go marching down to the ground
to get out of the rain

the ants go marching four by four
hurrah.. hurrah..

the ants go marching four by four
the little one stops to shut the door

and they all go marching down to the ground
to get out of the rain

boom.. boom.. boom.. boom..

the ants go marching five by five
hurrah.. hurrah..

the ants go marching five by five
the little one stops to take a dive

and they all go marching down to the ground
to get out of the rain

boom.. boom.. boom.. boom..

the ants go marching six by six
hurrah.. hurrah..

the ants go marching six by six
the little one stops to pick up sticks

and they all go marching down to the ground
to get out of the rain

the ants go marching seven by seven
hurrah.. hurrah..

the ants go marching seven by seven
the little one stops to pray to heaven

and they all go marching down to the ground
to get out of the rain

the ants go marching eight by eight
hurrah.. hurrah..

the ants go marching eight by eight
the little one stops to roller-skate

and they all go marching down to the ground
to get out of the rain

the ants go marching nine by nine
hurrah.. hurrah..

the ants go marching nine by nine
the little one stops to check the time

and they all go marching down to the ground
to get out of the rain

boom.. boom.. boom.. boom..

the ants go marching ten by ten
hurrah.. hurrah..

the ants go marching ten by ten
the little one stops to shout THE END

and they all go marching down to the ground
to get out of the rain

boom.. boom.. boom.. boom..

    1. Well, ever stop and notice that when the 4×4 ants return to their holes, they are actually in lines of 5 going into 5 holes? They use the same footage for the ants that are marching 5×5. They also do this when the ants go into their holes when they marh 7×7. They end up forming 8 lines and going into 8 holes if you actually count. This footage is also used when they march 10×10. Adding onto this, they claim that the small ant rollerskates when they march 8×8, but he is actually skateboarding; they are very different. Not only that, but when the ants march 7×7, 9×9, and 10×10, it clearly has no depth in the formation because it appears that they are marching with only one row. They are marching in 7×1, 9×1, and 10×1; not 7×7, 9×9, or 10×10…

And here I am… Ranting about a kids song… Coming up next is the baby shark song

  1. you probably already figured this out but let’s take it from the top 1. the ants are ww1 infantryman
    2. the rain represents mortar strikes.
    3. the little ant dint stop to check it’s watch it stopped because it was shoot and killed.
    4. their numbers keep increasing because their commanders are two stubborn to accept that an infantry charge doesn’t work and are increasing their numbers to try and make it work.

  2. Problems of a daycare teacher: 1. Toddlers running in the classrooms, play the ants marching song and tell them “no running, walk or march” then start singing and marching and doing little dance movements to go with the words of the song.
    2. This song is played and sang along to so often in the classroom it now haunts my dreams and is forever stuck in my head as the soundtrack to my daily routines.
