At almost 31 weeks pregnant, on a Saturday, I had about a tablespoon of bright red bleeding. I told my midwife and she said if I had more than that at one time to contact her. I told her I thought the baby was coming early. I kept having bleeding, but less than a tablespoon. On Tuesday I thought my mucus plug came out. But by my appointment on Thursday, the bleeding had finally stopped. So my midwife dismissed it. Fast forward to that Saturday at 31 weeks + 6 days, I had “Braxton Hicks” but they were pretty consistent. Every 5 mins. This is after midnight, so I decided to record them… After one hour, I woke my husband and told him we’re going to the hospital. I called the midwife and she directed us to a tier 3 hospital due to the baby’s gestation. On the way the contractions were getting more intense and I was moaning with them, but no back labour or anything. We got to the hospital and she checked if my water broke, it didn’t. My husband went to put my two year old in the car while we hoped they would figure out a way to stop my contractions. So after my husband left, the midwife checked me vaginally and said oh boy her head is there, you’re having this baby now! To be continued…. 3 year old is asleep!!!

I’m caring for my niece, my kids are all grown and out of the house. I’m Grandma age but no grandkids yet, so I’m very much enjoying the special time with this precious baby. She’s teething and has a cold so we haven’t been sleeping very well for the past week. Thanks to these lullabies she’s just about to sleep with her little head resting on my shoulder. And now she’s asleep so good night everyone I’m going to get some rest also & thank you for uploading this lullaby it’s our favorite one, next to me singing her to sleep.
